The Mancunian Singers have been in existence for 40 years and enjoy a fine reputation in the North West for our quality of performance both musically and in the unique way in which the programme is presented. We have a number of colourful costumes, do not use music copies in performance and vary the settings with the principal aim of entertaining our audience.

We certainly are not a 'dinner jacket - stand in rows - ladies carrying handbags' choir!

Our repertoire covers a wide range of light popular music which is mainly secular but includes some light sacred 'standards'.

Our speciality is  ‘cabaret style’ entertainment for social functions etc. but we are also able to give more formal staged performances.  We have given many performances in churches and  it has  never been suggested that our choice of music has been inappropriate for the venue.

Any CHURCH, CHARITY,MASONIC  or OTHER ORGANISATION planning social and/or fund raising events might consider

'An Evening with the Mancunian Singers'. 

We normally charge a fee  to cover expenses but this is very modest in comparison with most professional 'entertainers'.  Alternatively we would consider a 'profit sharing'  arrangement or if appropriate we may waive the fee altogether.

We have a very talented accompanist and one basic requirement is a piano in reasonable tune.
